This article explores the potential cost-saving benefits of recruitment process outsourcing (RPO). Richard Pearson of ResourceBank argues that organisations waste tens or even hundreds of millions of pounds each year on poor hiring practices. Other firms value the way an RPO deal can turn a fixed cost into a variable cost. Savings on RPO are not just about cutting agency fees but cutting agency hiring down to 20-25 percent and getting the rest to come directly, says Mike Gibbs, principal consultant with EquaTerra.
