The article offers information on the outlook of cookbook market in the U.S., despite the economic crisis. It is inferred that the cookbook market has been pressed to believe on other methods to ensure consumers continue to buy cooking titles. Likewise, Anja Schmidt, executive editor of DK Publishing, mentions that one method heavily employed by publishers over the years relying on celebrities to sell a title, wherein it has continued to work well.
