In this paper a microcontrolled elevator model utilizing serial data transmission study has been implemented. The implemented design provides an alternative for the complex wiring systems required for communication in the existing elevators. Different programs have been generated for the elevators with different standards so that this system can be used in all elevator systems. The codes have been written in C language for PIC programmers. The designed circuit has been tested in the laboratory and in the real environment. It is possible to use this system for the communication of any two systems with slight modifications.
