ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of Oliver Rubber Co. to increase the prices of its Oliver and MegaMile brand pre-cure and bonding gum products by 6% in North America effective September 15, 2008. Accordingly, the company decided to increase its prices due to the continuing hike in raw material, energy and transportation costs. Moreover, a background on the company is provided including its retread rubber production facility in Asheboro, North Carolina.
