The article discusses the three phases of growth an individual will undergo when he undertakes the Personal Excellence Plan. The first phase is the creation of a vision which will provide the foundation of his goals and the motivation to carry out his action plan. The second phase is performance, wherein the person will engage in mission-critical steps involving goal-setting, organizing and prioritizing actions to be taken. In the third phase, a person will be able to tap into support systems which include rewards and the search for a mentor.
