ABSTRACT
The article reports that small banks line up for bailout money to help small businesses in the Detroit, Michigan region. Many of the state's community banks are planning to share the bailout money with an eye on leveraging federal money into loans for their small-business customers over the next six month. David Widlak, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Community Central Bancorp, said that he will apply for funds. He said his bank would be eligible for a maximum of $12.5 million.
