ABSTRACT
The article considers whether Israeli leader Bibi Netanyahu may be coming back into power in Israel, and how both ex-U.S. President Bill Clinton, U.S. President-elect Barack Obama, and major European leaders worked to keep him out of power. Once Prime Minister, Netanyahu is blamed for preventing the peace processes of the late 1990s, while some of his positions, such as taking an anti-Yasir Arafat stance, seem stronger in 2008. The author states that Netanyahu divided Israelis during his term.
