ABSTRACT
The article reports on the experience of contractors working on a replacement water main project for South East Water on the A26 highway through Southborough in Kent, England. The workers, from contractors Morgan Est, have been sworn at by passing drivers who have had to wait at temporary traffic lights because the works involve a busy arterial route. Morgan Est spokeswoman Jane Gould says the company is getting concerned at the actions of some motorists as it attempts to complete the main-laying scheme.
