Chemical Constituents of Solanum septemlobum Bunge

The EtOAc extract of the Solanun septemlobum Bunge was separated by repeated silica gel column chromatogramphy to afford eleven compounds. On the basis of pectroscopic analysis and compareison with the reported data, they were identifyied as scopoletin (1), N-trans-feruloyl tyramine(2), 14-methoxy-10, 13-dimethyl-17-(5-oxo-2, 5-dihydrofuran-3-yl) hexadecahydro-1H-cyclopenta[a] phenanthren-3-yl acetate(3), 9α, 11α-epidioxyergosta-6, 22-dien-3β-ol(4), β-stigmasteryl-3-O-β-D-(6-palmityl) glucopyranoside (5), (E)-docosyl 3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl) acrylate(6), stigmastero(7), hexadecanoic acid(8), triacontane(9), daucosterol(10), β-sitosterol(11). These compounds were obtained from this plant for the first time.
