ABSTRACT
The article offers update on the sustainability developments in the U.S. The previous Greenbuild International Conference and Expo showed an increase number of participants by 20 percent compared in the previous year event. It illustrates that the economic crisis is impacting conference attendance nationwide. During the event, Johnson Controls Inc. (JCI) promotes the concept of efficiency as the effect technique for sustainability including energy efficiency.
