ABSTRACT
The article reports on the net loss of C$160,000 incurred by the Canada-based ready-to-assemble furniture producer Bestar Inc. in its third-quarter ended September 30, 2008. The company attributed the loss to increased interest expenses and the fluctuation of the Canadian dollar. For the nine months ended September 30, the company's net loss totaled C$540,000 or 4 cents per share.
