Ekornes reports North American revenues

The company reported revenue rise of 6% in U.S. dollars for the first nine months of 2008. But in terms of home currency, Ekornes' revenues fell by 1.4% because of the changing exchange rate. Peter Bjerregaard, president of the U.S. unit, revealed that the company is trying to expand its distributor network and to pursue a marketing strategy to counteract the decline in sales.
