ABSTRACT
The article reports on a two-pronged brand strategy launched by specialty bedding producer I Care Sleep, a unit of Hickory Springs, for its eco-friendly mattress and accessory lines. Company officials claimed that the features of the lines, Earthcare and icare, are expected to give retailers highly salable sleep sets and sleep accessories. Dwayne Welch, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Hickory Springs, said that they are offering something different than just a brochure.
