ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of jet carrier-brokerage firm Ecostreamjet to offset 100 percent of the carbon emitted on all its clients' flights in the U.S. The carrier purchases its offsets from renewable provider Native Energy and does carbon offsetting at no additional costs to the customer. According to founder Ric Shiarella, the company's goal is to reduce the pollution generated by air traffic.
