This article reports that Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas has started offering a healthful line of hot foods in November 2008. The objective, according to Celia Krazit, director of nutrition services, is to educate customers to choose tasty, healthier options. On the heart healthy line, there are three low-cholesterol omelets and other low-cholesterol scrambled eggs or frittatas. The Kashi brand cereal is offered at the Parkland Express because there is a market for it, Krazit says.
