ABSTRACT
The article reports that amidst increasing whole food prices in the U.S., red meats have not been hit as hard as wheat, eggs and dairy products. Bill Lapp, president of Advanced Economic Solutions reported that the supply of beef and pork is ample to excessive right now, and though there has been a dramatic increase in feed costs, producers have not responded yet with significant price increases.
