ABSTRACT
The article presents the economic forecast of the Business Monitor International (BMI) for Slovakia for 2009. As stated, BMI has revised its 2009 Slovak real gross domestic product (GDP) to 4.4% from the previously forecast of 6.5%. BMI notes that tight global credit conditions and the eurozone slowdown will affect the country's growth potential through the medium term.
