ABSTRACT
The article presents the economic outlook of the Business Monitor International (BMI) for Poland for 2009. According to BMI, momentum for the economic growth cycle over the course of 2009 to 2010 will be affected by eurozone consumption cooling and tight international credit markets. However, BMI notes that the resilience of consumer spending will be the key factor driving growth dynamics. Also noted is the declining external demand for Polish exports.
