ABSTRACT
The article discusses the Hotel Particulier Montmartre, a five-room hotel in a section of Paris, France's 18th arrondissement. Owner Morgane Rousseau spent years in Beaujolais, France curating exhibits and managing artists' residencies at the Chateau de Bionnay so Rousseau believes that being hotelkeeper of the Hotel Particulier Montmartre is a continuation of that work. The garden designed by Louis Benech, the Vitrine room designed by painter and sculptor Philippe Mayaux, the Arbre à Oreilles or "trees with ears" room by illustrator and creative director Pierre Fichefeux, and the chambre végétale "vegetal room" by contemporary artist Martine Aballéa are discussed.
