The article reports that Honeywell International Inc. will sell fuel-saving turbochargers in China by 2010, in time for China's adoption of the European emission standards. Turbocharged diesel engines burn 29% less fuel, emit 20% less CO2 and weigh less per horsepower than standard gasoline engines. Changes in the new turbochargers make them more reliable, powerful and capable of delivering 130% of it's predecessor. Honeywell's Turbo Technologies division is working on micro-turbochargers.
