ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the merits of the 250, 000 American freshmen college enrollees in September 1928. It is said that educators feel that many of these students are wrongfully admitted in colleges. Meanwhile, the statement of F.C. Woodward of the University of Chicago offers the assertion from colleges to uphold educational quality over quantity. The author believes that such move will ensure that every young people admitted to college will gain knowledge during their college years.
