ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the index on the changing dynamics of pharmaceutical industry outsourcing in Asia from PriceWaterhouseCoopers. The index is said to confirm the position of China and India as the leading outsourcing locations for the industry. Big pharmaceutical firms are said to be making big moves to step up their drug discovery investment in the continent. It also notes that the authors of the report point out that the growing convergence with international regulatory standards is also being felt in labour markets.
