The article profiles Nellie Spicer, a senior setter who plays for the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) Bruins team. Spicer always think of working hard, no matter what happens to attain positive outcome. She helped lead the team to more than 90 victories including a run to the 2006 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) semifinals. She was recognized a top 10 national ranking for the team and maintained a spot among the top setters in the U.S.
