ABSTRACT
We established two Epstein–Barr virus (EBV)-infected NKL sublines, which acquired stress resistant phenotype against DNA damage and starvation compared with EBV-negative NKL. EBV-rendered doxorubicin resistance at least partially through NF-κB activation and the resultant sustenance of antiapoptotic proteins including Bcl-XL and FLIPL/S.British Journal of Cancer (2008) 99, 1816–1822. doi:10.1038/sj.bjc.6604764 www.bjcancer.com Published online 4 November 2008
