The article reports that family planning charity fpa is calling on the training of and support to practice nurses to help them provide women with a greater choice of contraception in Great Britain. The call follows publication of a Government report, which finds that the pill is still the most popular form of birth control. A separate report by the National Health Service (NHS) Information Centre reveals that the number of long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) prescribed by NHS community clinics is increasing.
