ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to chefs and astrophotographers in the U.S. Author David Gessner developed a pedagogical split personality in order to cope the competing demands of writing and teaching. Paonia Colorado was chosen instead of France as a destination for 11 chefs-in-training from Culinary School of the Rockies in Boulder, Colorado. Steve Snyder, editor of the Texas newspaper "Cedar Hill Today" had spent a few days doing astrophotography in Utah.
