ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plans of Novell to direct over at rival Red Hat. The company has created a migration service designed to aid Linux users to move into its Suse enterprise servers which had been under a three-year contract to support Red Hat or CentOS, a Red Hat Clone. However, a migration subscription occurs when Novell has to provide the operating system server with binaries built from source code policy which appears similar for its platform and technical support. Moreover, it notes that the replacement programs are fair among these vendors, thus, Novell offers the migration contracts as one-off contracts to customers.
