ABSTRACT
The article reports on a home at the Summerlin Community that became the highest residential transaction in 2008 for Las Vegas, Nevada. The 14,000-square foot home located at 59 Promontory Ridge was built by Michael and Rhonda Mona and sold to a local businessman for $11.5 million on October 3, 2008. The all-cash transaction reportedly took six hours from acceptance of the offer to closing of the escrow.
