ABSTRACT
The article focuses on maintenance and service contracts for a security system. Under a service contract, the service provider guarantees the customer to repair the problem in their product within a given time period. Maintenance contracts should include "planned regular visits" to prevent problems and system breakdowns. Meanwhile, service pricing should reflect "mean time to failure" and replacement cost.
