ABSTRACT
The article reports on the investigation conducted by the National Transportation Safety Board on the medevac helicopter accident of the Maryland State Police in Maryland. Accordingly to its report, the helicopter had no mechanical malfunctions, providing the strongest evidence was a pilot error. Among who died were the pilot, an infant patient, and paramedic. The helicopter's flight controls, engines and drive system showed no signs of malfunction just before the accident.
