The article provides information on the newspapers in Kentucky. It states that the first newspaper titles were chosen to represent the six geographic regions of the commonwealth and each title is supplemented with a short essay that addresses the historic significance to the nation. Among the titles which the Kentuckiana Digital Library (KDL) includes "Chronicling America," "The Courier-Journal," and "The Hartford Herald."
