ABSTRACT
The article reports on the results of research which was conducted in an effort to compare the biomechanical behavior of high tension double row repair compared with reduced tension single row repair in the treatment of massive rotator cuff tears. A discussion of the challenges that a massive tear of the rotator cuff pose to an orthopedic surgeon is presented.
