ABSTRACT
The article outlines the advantages of laser cutting to any manufacturing industries. One of the advantages that laser cutting can offer is that, it provides increased income from value-added work. It also produces fine edge quality with minimal dross or slag. Its ability to do curved shapes and complex geometries straight from CAD/CAM files is likewise emphasized.
