ABSTRACT
The article reports that Boyd Gaming Corp. will evaluate alternatives for the halted $4.8-billion Echelon 5,000-room multiple hotel development project along the Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. Keith Smith, chief executive officer (CEO) of Boyd Gaming Corp., said that while the project will not be sold, the company is looking at other options ranging from reducing the scope of the development to bringing in new joint venture partners.
