ABSTRACT
The article reports that the date of the fairness hearing for the Classic Plumbing vs. IPEX Inc. case has been set by Las Vegas, Nevada District Court Judge Timothy Williams on January 30, 2009. The construction defect case, which involves some 36,000 homes in the Las Vegas Valley, alleges that the Kitec brass plumbing fittings made by IPEX caused extensive corrosion, resulting in leaks in the pipes. Williams wants to make sure the lawyers agreed on the mechanism of delivering the notices to homeowners.
