The games included in the class are part of a program in Oregon schools to help kids exercise more. One activity that some schools offer is hiking which helps kids practice walking on uneven terrain, or land. According to Lynette Zuercher, one of the program organizers in Portland, they want to make sure kids understand there are different ways they can move.
