ABSTRACT
The article discusses the use of wireless technologies in keeping the low costs of business with the current economic uncertainty. TeleNav and WebTech Wireless have seen an increase in revenue due to interest in using location-based services and telematics services. Motorola's Mobile Computing unit was successful with its GPS and wireless wide-area networking (WWAN) computers for vehicles resulting to reduction in travel downtime, increase in employee accountability, and reduction in overtime.
