ABSTRACT
The article discusses the merchant payment processing services offered by First Data to financial institutions (FIs). Merchants could avail of services including consolidated statement with one settlement and online account access anytime. New merchant partners receive a welcome kit that has an interchange grid explaining the cost of the different types of transactions. Products offered to small FIs include check acceptance, debit and credit acceptance and prepaid card programs.
