ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of Maple Leaf Foods to recall products dating back to January 2008 following an outbreak of Listeria in Canada in November. The identified 26 cases involving the strain of Listeria monocytogenes were reportedly traced to the Toronto facility of Maple. It also cites an investigation by the Public Health Agency of Canada.
