ABSTRACT
The article provides information about the American Society for Indexing (ASI)/H. W. Wilson Co. Award for Excellence in Indexing. It states that the award was established in 1978 to honor excellence in indexing of an English language monograph or other non-serial work published in the U.S. It is designed to provide and publicize models of excellence in indexing as well as to encourage recognition of the importance of quality in book indexing. In connection, the submissions must be postmarked on February 16, 2009.
