This article reports on the opening of the first outpatient clinic of Hemo Therapeutics in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to Hemo Therapeutics president and chief executive officer Hal Lieberman, the opening followed a move made by Southwest Medical Associates to become the first insurance-related group to cover the use of Hemo Therapeutics' therapy outside of hospitals. Southwest Medical Associates is a division of United Healthcare of Nevada.
