The article reports on the success of the four-year apprenticeship programme of PD Ports PLC at Teesport in Great Britain. The program comprises one year of basic, core enginnering and theory skills with NETA Training Group and followed by three years working alongside a tradesman mentor. Once an apprentice completed the program, he or she will be qualified to Higher National Certificate level.
