ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of Rhodia Inc. to add a surcharge on its Polyamide 6.6 in Lyon, France. The move is due to the developing crisis in the availability of butadiene. Moreover, the company has imposed an immediate, yet temporary surcharge of 50 per ton or 80 per ton on all its nylon 6.6 products.
