ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the 61-storey, 4,004-room ARIA hotel-casino tower, which is being built by Perini Building Co. inside the $9.2-billion CityCenter development at Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue in Nevada. The tower, designed by Pelli Clarke Architects, will require 245,000-cubic yards of concrete and 1,700 construction workers to complete and will be completed by December 2009.
