ABSTRACT
In this article, the customer services of various travel agencies are rated including Thomson Travel, Thomas Cook Group PLC and Tesco PLC, by a mystery shopper. The mystery shopper found that the consultant at Thompson made no attempt to find out exactly what the shopper wanted or whether there were any suitable products on the market. Although friendly, the consultant at First Choice was said to be not very helpful and her level of competence was far from satisfactory.
