ABSTRACT
The article reports on the write up of the World Trade Center Medical Working Group of New York City related to the aftermath of the attacks on September 11, 2001. It states that the report mentions that of the 40,000 rescue and recovery workers screened nationally, more than 10,500 received federally funded treatment for physical conditions. Meanwhile, other key findings include high instances of post-traumatic stress disorder among workers.
