The article reports that Poetry nightclub managing partner Mike Goodwin, along with partners in Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group's Chinois restaurant, sued Caesars Palace casino and Forum Shops mall in Las Vegas, Nevada. They are demanding an end to the practice of blocking the main entrance to the mall at night so Poetry customers can enter through the front door. Goodwin alleges that Caesars and mall owners Simon Property Group Inc. are driving Poetry out of business because they do not like that Poetry plays hip-hop music and attracts black clientele.
