ABSTRACT
The article reports on the weak conditions of rental apartment market during the second quarter of 2008 based on the Multifamily Rental Market Index (MRMI) of National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in Washington D.C. Accordingly, the component of the index tracking market-rate rental apartment and affordable or subsidized apartments have dropped compare with the state in the second quarter of 2007.
