ABSTRACT
The article provides the statements of Carbon Neutral executive director Jonathan Shopley concerning carbon offset companies in Great Britain. Co-chairman of the International Carbon Reduction and Offset Alliance (ICROA) as well, Shopley reveals that no more than a third of those carbon offset companies meet ICROA's standards. He estimates that there are 140 companies and non-profit organizations that offer carbon offsets. He hopes to have 30 to 40 organizations as members in a year's time.
