ABSTRACT
The article reports on the impact of economic uncertainty on the furniture industry in the U.S. According to the author, retailers will be cautious in their merchandising moves until a rebound is on the way. He adds that retailers will look for suppliers that warehouse their goods and can ship quickly to lessen their inventory levels. He also mentions that price increases may have eased at least temporarily due to economic crisis.
